Power to unlock your vision

Venier provides specialist technical design, draughting and CAD management for live events, entertainment and performance. Working closely with technical directors, production managers, designers and specialist contractors, we help translate creative concepts into accurate, coordinated technical information ready for production.

AutoCAD forms the core of our workflow, supported by Rhino and other specialist software where required. From early design development and technical coordination through to installation and on-site delivery, our focus is on creating clear, reliable information that helps complex projects move efficiently from design to reality.

Groundplans, overlays, & technical documentation

From master groundplans and departmental overlays to detailed technical drawings and coordinated drawing packages, we create clear and accurate information tailored to the requirements of each project.

Our work includes 2D and 3D draughting, CAD management, design integration, drawing coordination and technical documentation. Bespoke drawing standards, templates and title blocks can also be developed to provide consistency across a project while maintaining the client’s own brand identity.

Problem solving at scale

Complex productions rarely stand still. Designs evolve, technical requirements change and new challenges emerge throughout development, installation and rehearsals.

Our experience across major ceremonies, live television, theatre, brand experiences and entertainment allows us to respond quickly to change, identify practical solutions and communicate them clearly across departments. Whether resolving a detailed technical interface or coordinating information across an entire production, we bring a considered, collaborative approach to every project.

We’re specialist, but not limited

Our experience spans major sporting and cultural ceremonies, live television, theatre, festivals, entertainment, conferences, product launches, brand experiences and immersive productions.

While every project presents a different set of creative and technical challenges, the principles remain the same: accurate information, clear communication and effective coordination between the people responsible for bringing the production to life.

Based in the UK and working internationally, Venier supports projects from early design and pre-production through to installation, rehearsals and final delivery.

John, what a natural talent you are. You brought some significant skills to the table, and I think we used just about all of them on this job. I appreciated the way you tackled everything thrown at you with patience and well thought through processes to always find the best possible outcome in each and every instance. The late integration of the Spidercam in among everything else that was going on was a shining example of this. Well done and I hope we get to do it all again sometime soon.

Shannon Gobell — Technical Director, AFC Asian Cup Opening Ceremony

Thanks so much for agreeing to join the team once again and for taking on the challenge of the spike system with such enthusiasm and skill. It was great to work with you again and I very much hope we get to again soon!

Gary Beestone — Technical Director, Eurovision Song Contest 2023

The task of learning to use and implement a brand new type of software to indicate the scene changes for all delegate performances was one which John undertook with all of his enthusiasm and dedication. The digital spike mark software was a beneficial part of the whole show and without John’s involvement was unlikely to be as successful as it was.

Tom White — CAD Manager, Eurovision Song Contest 2023

Thank you for joining this extraordinary team and helping us to deliver two Ceremonies that Birmingham and the UK can be proud of. The people that have created these shows are at the core of everything we have done and we are so thankful for your work, dedication, tenacity and kindness throughout.

Luke Mills — Deputy Technical Director, Birmingham Ceremonies

Your work in the CAD team was key to our success and I am incredibly grateful for your dedicated work and good humour throughout. Your skilled work and attention to detail were absolutely fantastic and it was a privilege to work with you.

Gary Beestone, Technical Director – Birmingham Ceremonies

John’s level of dedication in producing detailed technical drawings for both ceremonies was outstanding. This was never more evident in the detailed work he undertook in talking to all relevant departments to produce a technical storyboard of every step of the opening ceremony. This highly accurate and important document was used by all team members to plan their tasks during the two hour ceremony.

Tom White, CAD Manager – Birmingham Ceremonies

Thanks for everything John, you’ve been an amazing part of the LFPS family and I’m sure you’ll be a great asset to the commonwealth games team.
