The FC Pro World Championship brought 32 of the world’s leading EA SPORTS FC 24 players to Berlin for the culmination of the 2024 competitive season, with the tournament taking place at the Uber Eats Music Hall.
Working with Whisper TV, John joined the project during the installation phase as the on-site Draughtsman, supporting the technical team with the accurate positioning and coordination of the event infrastructure within the venue.
John was responsible for setting out the main competition stage and satellite player booths within the arena, ensuring that the installation corresponded with the coordinated production drawings.
His role also extended to the practice area and players’ lounge on Level 4, where 44 gaming stations were installed for the play-in and group stages of the tournament. John set out the space from the production plans before coordinating local crew and contractors through the installation, ensuring the completed areas met the required layout and client specification.
The project combined technical draughting with practical on-site coordination, allowing drawing information to be translated accurately from the production plans into the finished tournament environment..
