The FC Pro World Championship, held from July 11-13, 2024, in Berlin, Germany, is a premier esports event for EA SPORTS FC 24. The championship features the top 32 players who qualified through the FC Pro Open and various FC Pro Leagues worldwide. These elite competitors vie for a share of a $1 million prize pool. The tournament structure includes a group stage followed by a single-elimination knockout phase, culminating in the finals. Fans could watch the event live at the Uber Eats Music Hall or online via EA SPORTS FC PRO’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
Working with Whisper TV, Venier were onsite during the installation phase of the project working as the onsite draughtsman ensuring the correct placement and positioning of the mainstage and satellite player booths within the arena. In addition to this we helped to oversee and manage the practice area and player’s lounge on Level 4 of the venue where there was a setup of 44 consoles used during the play-ins and group stages of the tournament. This involved marking the area out as per the plans and then managing a taskforce of local crew and contractors to ensure the area was completed to the client’s specification.
